In The Year 2011 All Broadcasts Will Switch to Analog

Welcome to Analog Housou! Good to see you managed to tune in okay–we apologize if there’s any kind of interference. What we have up is kind of sparse at the moment, but in time we’ll have a ton of cool content for you to sink your teeth into. Anime, games, books, music, and whatever else we manage to scrounge up is the name of the game. We’re going to throw both the familiar and the strange out there, and hopefully it’ll manage to tickle somebody’s fancy.

And for all those paying attention, the “we” I’m using isn’t royal–I have some people helping me out this time. Hopefully between all of us we can manage to produce a variety of content, so it wont be just me mouthing off about whatever I like. So keep your eyes on who’s writing what–it’ll be important!

But what are we trying to do here, anyway? I can’t speak for the others, but what I’d like to do first and foremost is make the type of blog that I, myself, would like to read. There are a countless number of anime blogs floating around on the internet, but none of them seem to be able to deliver the type of editorial content I’m interested in. So rather than sit down and pout, I found it a lot better to simply write about what I want to, and how I want to.

What we’re doing here may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if we manage to touch the hearts of a few kindred spirits, it’s all worth it. So don’t touch that dial, and stay tuned, because Analog Housou starts NOW.
